Cassville Chief of Police Dana Kammerlohr has been assisted in her effort to purchase a drug dog thanks to a $3,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

The grant was made to Progress & Action Through Community Effort (PACE).

“The Arvest Foundation’s generosity will be a big help to the Cassville Police Department,” said PACE president Mike McCracken. “These kinds of gifts help all of us who call this area home.”

“We are pleased to present this donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to support PACE and Chief Kammerlohr,” said Whitney Craig, community bank vice president for Arvest in Cassville. “This donation is just one of many we have made throughout the area, and it demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve.”

With roots tracing back to the 1940s, the Kiddie Park has been a staple in the Bartlesville community for decades. The Kiddie Park is a safe place for youth and their caregivers to have fun and build lifelong memories. Funds from the Arvest Foundation will be used to maintain the park’s rides and attractions.

The gift was announced at the Kiddie Park in front of the iconic carousel. Local bank president Kyle Hubbard and marketing manager Annah Fischer were on hand to present the check to Kiddie Park president Ron Adams.

“We are so thankful for the support of the Arvest Foundation,” said Adams. “We are very proud to be a part of the history of Bartlesville, and we feel very blessed to have the support of our community. This gift will allow us to continue to provide a safe place for children to make memories with their loved ones.”

“The Kiddie Park is one of the many attractions that make Bartlesville unique,” said Hubbard. “My family and so many from our community and afar treasure the memories made at the Kiddie Park. This donation will help ensure future families are able to enjoy the park facilities.”
